On the middle 3 reels of the slot, you will notice there are some special Highlighted Symbols on the reels (white background) if the stacks of these symbols land to cover the middle reels entirely then this will trigger a Colossal Symbol Respin.

Colossal Symbol Respin

The Colossal Symbol re-spin feature converts the middle reels into 1 giant reel, this contains enlarged symbols (3×4) including the special wild Mermaids, the reels will respin and pays will occur from left to right or right to left if any combinations are created on the reels, and as noted earlier if the special Wild symbol lands during the Colossal re-spin it will also nudge to cover the entire middle Colossal reel.

Overall Opinions

Secrets of Atlantis is not one of our favourite slots from recent NetEnt releases, we much preferred the exclusive Wild Wild West slot from NetEnt which is also available at Betsafe Casino, with a lack of a main bonus round to aim for we felt that the slot felt slightly underwhelming whilst playing, although there is definitely some excitement to be had when the Colossal Re-spins feature occurs.

With an RTP (Return to Player) of 97.1% you are sure to get some decent playtime, but remember that this slot can be quite streaky in terms of the wins, so bet accordingly.

During playtesting we didn’t manage to score any wins over 100x stake, but they are certainly attainable with multiple 5 of a kind wins possible on 40 paylines.
