Dr Fortuno is a gorgeous looking slot release from Yggdrasil, who in all honesty probably lead the way in terms of producing visually stunning slots, from the animated reels and small touches like integrating the UI into the theme of the slot seamlessly.
A good looking slot is just one small factor and we did have issues with the gameplay, the jackpot feature triggers very frequently and actually becomes a slight annoyance while playing, yes you have a very small chance of winning the jackpot but the alternatives are small coin wins, extra spins of the wheel and multipliers and we found ourself “quick spinning” just to get the wheel spin and subsequent coin win out of the way.
The main free spins round in its regular form (3 scatters) also felt a little weak especially if you are awarded one of the less exciting modifiers such as 5 extra spins, if you do manage to get a 4 or even 5 scatter to trigger the bonus round is transformed totally but these are going to be much rarer to land.
Overall it just felt like a little too much has been crammed into one slot and hence the RTP is spread all over the place, I would have prefered no bonus wheel and better free spins modifiers personally to award something that actually puts you on the edge on your seat whilst playing.
