Microgaming has released several news slots including Oink: Country Love which is a farmyard inspired 45 payline slot and EmotiCoins which is an in-house inspired 30 payline slot that features lots of the popular Emoticons on the reels. The EmotiCoins slot uses a regular 5×3 reel layout and comes with 30 fixed paylines along with a couple of new special features such as the Wild Blast where up to 5 Wild Symbols are randomly added to the reels for a guaranteed win along with a Wild Stickers free spins round where on every alternate spin a Wild symbol is added and sticks to the reels for the rest of the bonus round.
The base game reels are a mixture of high and low paying symbols along with several wilds on each reel along with the special LOL scatter symbols which are required to trigger the main free spins bonus round.

EmotiCoins Slot – Bonus Features
There are 2 main bonus features in the EmotiCoins slot, the first feature called Wild Blast occurs in the base game randomly and will award up to a maximum of 5 wilds on the reels and a guaranteed win.
The main bonus feature, however, is the Sticker Wild free spins bonus round which is triggered by landing 3 or more of the special LOL Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels.
Once the special Sticker Wild feature has been triggered you are granted 10 free spins, on every alternate spin during the bonus you are awarded a randomly placed Sticky Wild that stays present on the reels for the remainder of the bonus round.
By the end of the free spins, you will have 5 sticky wild symbols on the reels making it much easier to create several wins hopefully.

Overall Thoughts
We found the gameplay on the Emoticons slot to be a little average, the win potential seems a little hampered by the maximum number of sticky wilds that can present on the reels during the free spins.
In our playtests the bonus rounds were fairly consistent (30x-60x bet)and given the 97.00% RTP this should ensure plenty of play time but we would have liked a much more volatile bonus round with either multipliers, re-triggers and a change to a less obvious Sticky Wild mechanic to really spice up the bonus round and the slots overall volatility.
Overall a decent release that you may want to play once or twice, but for us EmotiCoins didn’t grab us with any long term appeal.
