Elk’s Light Feature
The Elk Light feature can be triggered on any spin, both during the base game and the free spins too. Once triggered one of the high paying symbols is selected and this is then transferred onto all of the lowest paying symbols (Rune Symbols), increasing your chances of several payline wins or 5 of a kind wins.
Enduring Win – Free Spins
Once the main bonus round is triggered the Great Wild Elk symbol will fill the middle reel entirely and acts as a wild reel during the bonus round, you will also notice that there is an enduring win total above the slot which keeps track of your current win total during the bonus rounds, and when the free spins have finished you then get to play out the Call of the Elk Re-Spins.
Call of the Elk Re-Spins
Once the free spins have finished the Call of the Elk Re-spins are initiated, the thing to be looking out for during this are the special scatter symbols, if they land on the reels during this mode then the Enduring Win total is awarded for every scatter symbol that has landed on the reels, as well as granting a further Call of the Elk Re-spin.
This feature can be very exciting, especially if you have managed to build up a decent Enduring Win total, and can retrigger multiple times, in our playtests it tended to retrigger once or twice or not all at all, but several times it did multiple retriggers (our best total so far was 7 retriggers!) resulting in wins of 200x stake.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed playing Great Wild Elk, be aware that it can be fairly volatile in nature, but there is definitely some decent win potential in the base game, and more so during the free spins if you manage to create a big enduring win total and keep re-triggering the respin feature, or land multiple scatters.
With an RTP (Return to Player) of 95.20% if you play on a reasonable bet size then you should have some decent playtime, just be aware that this is a high variance slot so make sure to bet accordingly.
