The main bonus round is where things can start to get very interesting in Matsuri, once triggered you are awarded an initial 8 free spins with the ability to earn up to 20 in total from any additional Scatter symbols (2 per symbol) landing on the reels during the bonus round.
The main feature that’s active during the bonus round are the wild reels that appear after any of the Lamp Wild symbols lands on the reels, these symbols then expand into a wild reel and on the following spin they will “walk to the left side of the slot” 1 reel at a time for each spin.
Landing further wild adds additional walking wild reels and this is certainly where the high variance and big wins are to be had, given the ease of earning additional spins, it’s not unusual to get the maximum 20 free spins too.

Matsuri is a fairly average release from Play’n Go, the base game is nicely themed with accompanying sound effect but there is really no stand out excitement from the base game.
The picking round is simple, triggered quite often but generally offers fairly low rewards, although there are some big rewarding fish to be caught (our best was 50x).
The free spins bonus round can be really exciting though, which is a shame, as the rest of the slot is fairly average, but if you can stick it out to till the free spins trigger you might just be pleasantly surprised and rewarded.
