There are 2 main bonus rounds on offer in Paint, the balloon bonus picking round is triggered by landing 3 or more of the special Bonus scatter symbols on consecutive reels from left to right, if you trigger this bonus round with additional symbols then you are rewarded with a higher starting multiplier reward as follows,
- 3 Scatter Trigger – no base multiplier.
- 4 Scatter Trigger – 2x base multiplier.
- 5 Scatter Trigger – 4x base multiplier.
Once triggered it’s then a simple picking round, pop the balloons to reveal multipliers which are based on the triggering bet size.
Free Spins Round
The free spins bonus round is triggered by collecting 5 of the special paint symbols which only appear in the base game on the middle reel, your collection progress is then recorded in a special meter to the right-hand side of the slot (see screenshots).
Be aware that these special collected paint symbols are for a specific bet size – i.e you can’t fill up the meter on a low bet size and then increase the bet size to trigger the free spins (we already tried!)
Once this meter has been filled up you are then given an initial 5 free spins, all of the reels now have special multiplier paint symbols on them with up to 4x multipliers available. When these special symbols land on the reels they are collected and stored, then applied to the total win.
You can also get extra spins during the bonus round by landing the special paint symbol on the middle reel, this grants 1 extra free spin each time up to a maximum of 10 free spins.

Overall Thoughts
Overall the Paint Slot from Irondog Studios is a very “average” release, the bonus rounds aren’t particularly innovative, the overall theme, sound effects, and music all appear to be fairly generic too.
On the positive side there are some very high paying symbols on the reels, factoring in the additional multipliers that are present in the free spins round then there may be some decent win potential lurking in this slot for the persistent player.
But honestly, we can’t see ourselves rushing to play this slot, maybe one to check out during a long session, but not a title that you are going to rush to play ahead of the other great slot titles already at Red Queen Casino.
