Overall The Phantom of the Opera Slot is a decent release from Microgaming, they have captured the essence of the musical and film adaption faithfully into an online slot.
With a good mixture of bonus rounds on offer with some interesting new mechanics and a couple of base game features the gameplay remains interesting.
The major downside we did find from our playtests is that the win potential seems a little less than the classic 243-way slots from Microgaming such as T2, Immortal Romance and Playboy, but there is definitely some potential in our favourite free spins bonus round “Music of the Night” were multiple extra modifiers can be added during the spins.
Overall a very solid release from Microgaming but long term the paytable and bonus rounds may be lacking for those epic big wins.
