Reptoids – A new 1960’s styled Sci-Fi themed slot from Yggdrasil Gaming!
Casino Heroes has recently added the latest Yggdrasil Gaming slots called Reptoids to their casino along with Orient Express (Nov 30th), these are currently still under a beta agreement with the official release date for Reptiods being the 23rd November 2017, but if you are registered at this casino you can play both before these dates!
Set in a 1960’s Sci-Fi theme the Reptoids are already taking over the world and take on the appearance of humans, thankfully with a new Alien Detector Field this can scan the reels with every spin discovering the hidden Reptiods and transforming them into wild symbols.
Using a regular 5×3 reel layout and 20 fixed paylines the Alien Detector Field changes positions on each spin, to create any wild symbols a Human or really a hidden Reptoid symbol must land directly in this Detector Field position.
There are scatter symbols also on this slot but rather than the regular bonus trigger of 3 or more you must land a Scatter symbol directly in the Alien Detector field to trigger the free spins round, normal Scatter pays apply to these symbols when not landing into this field and these do pay incredibly high for 5 Scatters!

Reptoids – Bonus Round
The free spins bonus round is triggered when you land any Scatter symbol directly in the Detector Frame which then grants you an initial 7 free spins.
During the bonus round, any of the Reptoids that are detected during the free spins will remain as wild symbols for the rest of the bonus round and are recorded in the handy meter to the left of the slot.
If you manage to collect 2 Reptoids you are also granted an additional 2 free spins, and this can be repeated 3 times if you manage to collect and turn all 6 Reptoid characters into wilds.

Overall Thoughts
Reptiods is a decent slot release from Yggdrasil, the Sci-Fi theme has been captured brilliantly both in the intro trailer and the game along with the novel Repto Detector feature.
Whilst the base game doesn’t have too much going on with the occasional wilds being added to the reels, the free spins round which can be hard to trigger adds lots of excitement with any detected Reptoids staying wild for the duration of the bonus round.
In out playtests we had wins in the range of 30x to well over a 150x stake, with our best bonus uncovering 5 of the Reptoids in total and producing a wild line win.
Still hunting that elusive final Reptoid but definitely a slot worth checking out!
