Overall Opinions
The Sweet Bonanza Xmas slot from Pragmatic Play offers nothing new regarding new features since it is a re-skinned Christmas release. However, gameplay-wise should still appeal to players who are fans of the grid style machines. The various options, from buying a bonus outright to tweaking the trigger chance are nice touches though.
In our playtests, we obviously utilised the buy a bonus feature to check out as many bonus rounds as possible to get a feel for the potential. Most bonus round wins did not cover the cost of this option, with our best bonus round topping 200x stake.
There is obviously a lot more potential as we didn’t even see a 100x multiplier in our tests, but maybe a little too risky to be simply buying a bonus and hoping to get them. The tweaked increased trigger chance is likely to appeal more to players, though and is probably how they would choose to play this machine for real money.
