As tumbling reels slots go, Thor’s Lightning is a fairly decent release, there are regular wins in the base and the randomly activated mini-features help add to the excitement when trying to unlock the free spins modes.
In our playtests, we did struggle at times to unlock the bonus rounds with some gaps of several hundred spins between bonuses, and the results from the Valhalla spins weren’t that impressive up to about 65x stake.
The Muspell Free Spins round is definitely our pick of the 2, and we managed to score several bonus rounds in excess of 100x stake, this bonus can be particularly good when the lava feature triggers removing many of the symbols and replacing them with a matching cluster.
Overall Thor’s Lightning is worth checking out if you are a fan of cascading, tumbling reel slots and are looking for something new and different to check out.
