In summary, the Tyrant King slot is another visually stunning Megaways release from iSoftBet. Graphics and animation are superb (some of the best in the industry). The small touches on creatures roaming in the background are just one example of adding great immersion to an online slot.
The sound effects are also superb, with the thudding stomp of dinosaurs literally shaking the reels simultaneously, making it very obvious a particular feature is occurring!
The gameplay, however, we have mixed feelings about the drawn-out duration of the spins in the Tyrant Respins feature felt way too long. There is a delicate balance between adding anticipation and making players long for a “stop button” during the respins feature. In this case, it felt like the latter.
The win potential is obviously there on this machine, with two separate ways to multiply wins and these possibly combining, which means one good hit can transform a bonus feature completely. The downside to this is the variance is approaching the terrifying side so expect disappointing bonuses to compensate for a slot offering such colossal win potential.
