Wolfpack Pays Slot – Nextgen Gaming
Rizk Casino is preparing to add several new slots from Nextgen Gaming to their casino in the coming months, the brand new titles include Monster Pays, Robin Hood – Prince of Tweets (18th May 2016) and Wolfpack Pays (11th May 2016) slot.
The Wolfpack Pays slot has a scheduled release date of the 11th of May 2016 and players should find it live and payable at the Betspin casino very shortly after the official release date, as they generally add all of the Nextgen and NYX slots very quickly to the casino on release day.
The slot uses a regular 5×3 reel layout and features a 243-way payline format (pay any- way), there’s a brand new mechanic called “on a roll” which is used to trigger the free spins bonus as opposed to the more regular “scatter trigger”.
The mechanics of the on a roll feature and the additional wilds being added on every winning spin are shown very well in the promotional video below.
Wolfpack Pays – Bonus Round
During base game play any time you land a win (3 of a kind of more) the “on a roll feature activates”, this then adds some wild symbols (Wolf) to some of the reels increasing your chances of a win on the upcoming spins and the reels re-spin, to continue the “on a roll” feature you need to land further wins, the process repeats with your progress easily tracked in the top right-hand corner of the slot.
If you manage to land 4 successive wins in a row the main bonus round is triggered, there is no limit to the total amount of free spins you can get in the bonus round, instead, it is based on not scoring a winning spin, and you have effectively 3 spins in total that result in no winning pays before the bonus round ends.
During the bonus round there are stacked wild present on all 5 reels, making it easier to land winning spins , and of course increasing the chances of landing the multi-way 5 of a kind wins too.
Overall Opinions
Nextgen Gaming is releasing some very high RTP (Return to Player) slots in the last few months and Wolf Packs is no exception with a very impressive 97.756%, which should hopefully give you some decent playtime.
On top of this, Wolfpack Pays is listed as a High Variance slot by Nextgen, so you should be looking at titles such as Medusa II for a comparison, although the maximum exposure in terms of coin wins is 194400 coins which would be the stacked wilds landing on all 5 reels.
Overall another solid slot release from Nextgen, the “on a roll” feature is an interesting way to trigger the bonus round and definitely builds up the excitement when you need just one more win to trigger the bonus round, the mechanics during the bonus round are a little different too although they can also be quite frustrating if you don’t manage to land any early wins!
