Pixie Gold Slot is a forthcoming release from Lightning Box Games which is due for release on the 16th of December 2015.

Previously the range of titles from this developer has proved quite difficult to locate, but this is all set to change since they agreed on a deal to be distributed over the NYX Gaming Platform, the first title to appear on this platform at many casinos was the Dolphin Gold Slot which we previewed some months ago.

Recently more of their back catalogue have now been added to the NYX platform and as such will be readily available to play at many of our recommended casinos including titles such as Chilli Gold, Frogs n Flies, Druidess Gold and Moon Temple.

The slot uses a 5 reel layout which uses a special Reelfecta reel giving a total of 1296 Ways in a 3 x 3 x 16 x 3 x 3 layout. The minimum bet is set to 50 Credits which to cover all 1296 way pays.

The special middle reel is called the Reelfecta and comprises of 16 mini reels, it’s worth noting that each reel is independent in the Reelfecta making it possible to land the same symbol 16 times giving multiple 5 of a kind chances across the reels.

In the base game, there are additional Wild Pixie symbols which substitute for all symbols except the King Star symbol.

Pixie Spin

Underneath the slot reels is a cart, this moves one reel at time, from left to right during each spin, when a King Star appears in a reel column directly above a Cart a Pixie Spin is awarded.

During the Pixie Spin an additional Wild Pixie is  added to reel 2, a Lucky Symbol is chosen and selected to be added to the Reelfecta Reel, increasing the chances of multiple wins of the same symbol.

The total RTP for this slot is stated as being 95.4%, with a large portion of the Return to Player built into the special round feature, so expect frequent Pixie Spins!
