Rizk Casino has just added the Monopoly Megaways slot from Big Time Gaming to their casino, and what better provider than the pioneers of Megaways slots to take on this huge branded slot release.
Big Time Gaming has done a decent job in capturing many of the classic Monopoly board game features in this release, the layout is a standard Megaways release with the addition of the Monopoly board underneath, featured such as Chance and Community Chest are included as are the Houses and Hotels.
The movement around the Monopoly board is done by Mr Monopoly as you score wins on the slot, successive wins thanks to the cascading symbols feature is the key to this machine as once several wins have been scored in a row you will start to place even more houses on the property tiles (top left tracks houses to be added).
Key board tiles such as the Water and Electric company and the Train stations are “collected” when you land on them and these will increase the Multiplier and Starting free spins whgen you manage to trigger the main bonus feature.
Rather than a regular scatter trigger to trigger the free spins you actually need to build a Hotel on any property tile, as you can imagine this can take quite some time when you are adding 1 or 2 houses to a particulr property at a time but the time spent adding houses is also actually beneficial during the bonus round.
When you travel around the board during the free spins if you land on positiuons with houses these are then counted as Multiplier increases during the bonus round, so having a filled up board on lots of positions is actually very beneficial.
There are a couple of extra random features included in this machine such as being awarded Max Megaways for landing on Go, and some random rewards from the Chance and Communioty Chest features such as bonus triggers, extra houses being added.
Overall they have done a great job in capturing the essence of Monopoly but we certainly found a few negatives to this slot also, like the spins taken for bonus triggers and the length of time spent building up a board of houses.
