On closer inspection, the gameplay seems to be very similar in style to the popular Steamtower slot, with a progressive multiplier in stages but looks to be slightly more volatile.
Whilst there are stacked wilds and regular wilds in the base game you are really looking to trigger the free games with 3 scatter as this is where multipliers are introduced to the gameplay and these can increase up to 12x, you can also “complete” the bonus round and be awarded an additional 1500 coins multiplied by the coin value for reaching the final stage.
Each Wild that appears on the reels during the bonus awards additional spins and advances you deeper into the ocean, unlocking higher levels and at the same time raising the Level Multiplier.
Graphically this is a superbly themed slot from NetEnt, however, the gameplay was a little disappointing when we realised it was Steamtower with a few minor tweaks and a touch more variance.

Wild and Stacked Wilds
There are 2 wild symbols on this slot regular Wild symbol and a Stacked Wild symbol in the base game, during the free spins however only the regular wild symbol is on the reels.

The Ocean’s Treasure Slot from NetEnt is a visually impressive release, however, the gameplay has been heavily influenced from the Steamtower slot with no truly new features being added, whilst a few tweaks have been made to the variance giving this slot quite a lot more win potential,
In our playtests, we did manage to successfully reach the 5th level awarding the bonus prize and total win of well of 100x stake, other bonuses were generally in the 20x to 80x stake range though, with the biggest win potential requiring 5 of a kind premium symbols along with a big multiplier value.
Worth a play if you are looking for a slot with a medium variance and fairly regular bonus triggers, but certainly a touch more variance than the low variance Steamtower slot.
