Special Features
All of the action in Sea Hunter occurs in the base game, the main aim of the game to trigger the special features which come after landing successive winning combinations on any of the 5 paylines.
After a specific number of winning spins in a row, the 2 cannons get upgraded granting special powers as follows.
- Growth Gun – 2 consecutive wins, cannons shoot at one random symbol, these are then upgraded to the next highest paying symbol in the paytable.
- Sticky Shot -4 consecutive wins, cannons will shoot at one symbol, all matching symbols including Wilds remain sticky with a re-spin awarded.
- Wild Warhead – 5 consecutive wins, on the next spin 1-3 Wilds are added at random to the reels.
- Multiply Mortar – 6 consecutive wins, you are awarded a free Win Spin (guaranteed win) the cannons will shoot and grant a Multiplier up to 15x to the win.

The Sea Hunter slot proved to be a really enjoyable slot to playtest, whilst there are only 3 reels and 5 paylines Play’n Go has managed to squeeze a lot of action into this slot.
Play’n GO has rated this as a 10/10 volatility slot with a maximum exposure of 92000 coins but we aren’t sure it’s really as volatile as something like the Book of Dead slot.
The base game is constantly exciting, and the wins seem to come thick and fast meaning you aren’t waiting too long for the cannons to get upgraded which is when the real excitement starts.
The progressive upgrading cannons that offer special features make this game really enjoyable to play, with the hope of reaching the special Multiply Mortar feature where the big Multiplied wins occur.
One to check out even if you aren’t generally a fan of 3 reel slots.
