It’s a simple mechanic but one that has proved popular with players seeking out that elusive 3 middle wild reels and accompanying re-spin with guaranteed wins.
Starblast does, however, add special wild symbol multipliers into the mix to spice up the paytable considerably along with the maximum win potential, along with expanding wild reels feature, the wilds may also contain a random multiplier value up to 3x, these wild multipliers can land on all 3 of the middle reels and are added together giving a maximum multiplier value of 9x which can produce staggering wins of up to 4000x stake!

There isn’t really too much to say about the Starblast slot unless you have never encountered Starburst before, the gameplay and special features are near identical with the wild multipliers giving this particular release a much more volatile playstyle and paytable.
Play’n GO has rated this title as a 10 volatility rating which is similar to titles such as Book of Dead, and during our playtests this became very apparent as we struggled for some time to get any wins even after re-spins higher than 20x stake.
If you check out the screenshots above though we did manage to get 3 wild reels with a 5x multiplier which resulted in a win just shy of 500x stake and with the accompanying re-spin this is close to a 1000x stake win so some crazy wins are definitely lurking in this slot if you have the patience.
Overall though the gameplay doesn’t offer enough to grab our attention, it might be worth having a few hundred spins during wagering a bonus in the hope for the elusive 3 wild reels, but we personally wouldn’t be rushing to seek out this slot over other titles for a fresh casino slot session.
